Flag is our first Australian Shepherd. He is also our first show dog. No matter how prepared we thought we were...we weren't. There is nothing like putting life to the breed standard to fully understand it. He has taught me so much about dogs in general, as well as what an australian shepherd is all about. Flag is the typical aussie. He is our guardian and protector. He is our friend. Mostly he is my buddy and constant companion. I don't remember what it was like before Flag entered our lives.

Flag is a black tri dog with full trim. He is a moderate dog with just enough bone and coat to not be over done. He has wonderful movement all around. He flies around the ring and in the yard always maintaining a natural, effortless gait. Flag is a high drive dog and is extremely intelligent. He learns quickly and is always willing to give 100%. He’s been on stock multiple times and shows natural talent.

Almost Six years old, just standing in field at '07 ASCA Nationals. Still looking good!!
